Body Essential Therapeutic Massage and Wellness is located within the Somerville Medical Arts Building at 153 North Auten Avenue, Somerville, New Jersey. Body Essential is a Female owned New Jersey Limited Liability Company as registered within Somerset County New Jersey.
This is a Therapeutic and Holistic Wellness Center focusing on Massage, Bodywork and Holistic Services that will reduce stress, relieve acute and chronic pain, reduce scar tissue, reduce and or repair Lymphedema related problems.
We also work with the seriously ill, Chronically ill, and will work closely with the appropriate primary care givers.
We also network with other Wellness providers performing on-site Chair Massage at Companies and or Corporations.
Body Essential also places certified or licensed therapists at your business i.e., Spa, Salon, Hospital, Clinic, Hospice, or home i.e., Home bound patient, *couples massage, *bridal/wedding parties.

This office has been created to be a warm and welcoming environment for a respite from everyday stress, body aches and pain. Body Essential is not a Spa and nor is it a clinic. Our office meets both of these at mid point. We are in practice a clinic with the appeal of a relaxing spa environment. There is soft music, a waterfall fountain with no harsh lighting and an aromatherapy experience as you arrive for your appointment . This is an office that adheres to medical office protocol of keeping your intake form(s), treatment records, and medical information private. Business Policies
Appointments: Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your first appointment. There will be some basic intake/profile paperwork for you to complete at your first visit. [In-take Form, Physicians Referrel ] You can settle in and enjoy a cup of soothing tea or some refreshing Lemon water. If you have booked a Reflexology appointment there will be a warm aromatic foot bath awaiting your tired feet. We request a credit card deposit for booking multiple services or for a first time in-home visit. If you have a gift certificate please bring it with you. Plan ahead - we recommend that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving the office to ensure the day, date and time that best suits your schedule. We appreciate your business as last minute appointment requests can be difficult to accommodate.
Cancellation Policy: We request if you can not make your scheduled appointment time that you please notify us 24 hours in advance. If you book an appointment and are a no show you will be charged / invoiced for 50% of the missed service.
Gratuity: Our packages and services DO NOT include gratuities. Gratuities are appreciated by your therapists but, are not expected as part of your patronage to Body Essential Therapeutic Massage & Wellness
Gift Certificates: Our gift certificates can be ordered via telephone, in person, or on the website. Please note that gift certificates are non-refundable but, can be converted to a cash value to be applied to another service or treatment, and are valid one year from date of purchase.
Currency/Payments: We accept cash, personal checks, American Express, Visa, Master card, Discover Card, PayPal, and Spa Week Gift Cards account payments. Secure Deposits are required for booking multiple services/packages, and Payments are expected at the completion of treatment or service
Medical Conditions: Our business is here to help you feel better - your comfort is our top priority. We ask that you let us know of any significant health conditions that may contraindicate treatment/service. This also applies to returning clients. Please update your therapist to any new changes to your health since your last visit. Also, please let us know how we have helped you after your visit so we may note it in your file.
Pricing and Treatments: Pricing and Treatments are subject to change at any time without any notice. This office does not accept Medical Health Plan payments, at this time. If, however, you have a prescription for therapeutic massage - Example for Rx "Relief from Chronic or Acute Pain, as needed." from your Doctor, Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, etc... please bring it with you. It needs to be retained in your file at our office. There is NO New Jersey State Sales Tax on prescribed treatments.
Children and guests: Children under the age of 18 are not permitted treatment services unless accompanied by an adult guardian. Children 12 years old and up MUST BE accompanied by a parent or adult who will be asked to sign a release form to be signed by the responsible party allowing the young client to receive services.
Sanitation: we are firmly committed to cleanliness, safety and hygiene. We use only sterilized and sanitized equipment, linens, lotions and Essential Oils for all services and treatments.
Additional Courtesies: We ask that guests to please turn OFF their cell phones while having a treatment or accompanying someone to our facility.
